We use premium Swiss velvet to make this dress lead. This material is our preferred choice because it has an incredibly soft and luxurious look and feel. All velvet leads are created with an adjustable handle which allows you to alter the lead length to your liking. This feature ensures the lead feels comfortable and secure in your hand.

We finish this double-sided velvet lead with your choice of solid brass or nickel-plated silver hardware. Choose solid brass for a traditional look and silver for a modern contemporary look.

This velvet dress lead is available in three widths: 5/8″ (Skinny), 3/4″ (Slim) or a 1″ (Wide) and in three lengths: 4ft, 5ft or 6ft.

To make your double-sided dress lead, I sew Olive Green Swiss velvet to durable and strong nylon webbing. For this velvet dress lead, we use forest green webbing, which complements the Olive Green velvet beautifully.

Caring for your Swiss velvet dress lead

My velvet dress leads are durable and can be hand washed or machine washed on a delicate cycle. Place your lead in a laundry bag or a knotted pillowcase, wash and then leave it to air dry.
