Rust Swiss Velvet Dress Lead

Our Rust Swiss velvet dress lead is incredibly soft and luxurious. Rust is a rich, warm brownish-orange colour that’s earthy, warm and autumnal. We love it because it’s so versatile, and we can mix and match it with many of our designs. Rust, particularly, suits adventurous, rugged hounds who can wear this retro colour well.

We use premium Swiss velvet to make this dress lead. This material is our preferred choice because it has an incredibly soft and luxurious look and feel. Many of our customers comment on how nice the lead feels in your hand as you walk along with your dog.

All velvet leads are created with an adjustable handle which allows you to alter the lead length to your liking. This feature ensures the lead feels comfortable and secure in your hand at all times.

This double-sided velvet lead is finished with your choice of solid brass or nickel-plated silver hardware. Choose solid brass for a traditional look and silver for a modern contemporary look.

Available dress lead widths and sizes

This dog lead is available in three widths: 5/8 (Skinny), 3/4″ (Slim) and 1″ (Wide) and three lengths; 4ft, 5ft or 6ft.

Nylon webbing

I sew the Swiss Velvet to both sides of strong, durable nylon webbing to make your double-sided lead. I’ve chosen Tangerine nylon webbing to complement the Rust velvet.

Caring for your Rust velvet dress lead

My velvet dress leads are very durable and can be hand washed or machine washed on a delicate cycle. Place your lead in a laundry bag or knotted pillowcase, wash and then leave to air dry.
