Soaker Coat – For Cooling Down and Drying Off

Another fantastic product from Chilly Dogs , the Soaker Coat has the same high quality workmanship with the same stylish design. Whether your dog is wet from river wading or romping in the sea… fresh out of the bath or fresh out of the therapy pool. A dry Soaker Coat is all you need to help absorb the extra water from their fur. Alternatively, if  your dog is waiting their turn in the confirmation ring or at an agility trial event, the Soaker Coat worn wet will help reduce their body temperature and cool them down.

Note: Please be aware that it will most likely be necessary for us to order your Chilly Dogs Fleece Dog Sweater directly from Canada. Orders are placed weekly but please allow 10 to 14 working days for your order to arrive in the UK. In busy periods it will take longer.

The Chilly Dogs Soaker Coat is a lightweight cool-down coat designed to assist in reducing your dog’s core body temperature. By reducing the core body temperature, it will reduce the risk of heatstroke.
How it works: When the water evaporates from the Soaker Coat fabric, it causes a cooling effect and therefore reducing your dog’s body temperature. This unique design covers the dogs back as well as under the neck and chest area. By cooling the underbelly, it significantly improved the cooling effect on the dog. This Soaker Coat is a must have for any active hound who feels the heat.

The Soaker Coat is made of poly micro/polynosic terry cloth.  Super absorbent, snag free and light weight. It is simply slipped over the dog’s head then the “Y” shaped belly panel is pulled down and back between the front legs, then pulled up over the dog’s back where the webbing is adjusted and the buckle is fastened. All Chilly Dogs™ coats feature an “Easy On, Easy Off” design.

Wet Use: Agility events/training, Confirmation shows, Hunting trials/training, Summer beach days and camping holidays, summer car rides, Dogs First Aid Kit. Also known as the “cool coat”, the Soaker Coat is designed to keep your dog’s body temperature cool on hot summer days. It can be a life saver during long, hot car rides and outdoor dog shows. To wet the Soaker Coat immerse in a basin of water or spray wet with a water bottle. Ring out excess water from the coat and place on your dog. To keep Soaker Coat wet during use, spray with water bottle.
Dry Use: Therapy pool use, home bathing, between summer swimming, home/kennel sleeping attire. The ultimate after bath or after swim solution! Slip the dry Soaker™ Coat onto your wet dog and the absorbent micro terry cloth will wick away moisture and speed dry off time. The Soaker™ Coat has also been a big hit with owners of dogs who love to rub against the furniture and roll on the floor after bath time; now the furniture stays dry and Fido stays clean!
