Suitable for all dog breeds, you can purchase this martingale collar in three widths, six sizes, with emerald green Swiss velvet lining and your choice of solid brass or nickel-plated silver hardware. Our Ross tartan martingale collar is a classic lightweight woven collar made with 100% pure new Scottish wool. The Ross plaid features a bottle green base with rich highlights of emerald, red and black weave. We line this collar with plush Emerald Green velvet to provide a touch of inner luxury for your best friend to enjoy. To complete the look, we suggest a matching Ross tartan lead or, for a less is more look, an Emerald Green Swiss velvet lead.
Ross tartan has a beautifully soft finish and is especially suited to delicate long necked hounds. The pure wool will radiate warmth around your hound’s neck whilst your hound radiates traditional Scottish style.
Why choose a martingale
Martingale collars have a unique design that keeps your dog from escaping or backing out of its collar. The reduced loop version has a slightly narrower control loop in comparison to the full loop version.
Your Ross tartan martingale collar will sit loosely around your dog’s neck. If and when they pull, the martingale loop will tighten, exerting a gentle pressure around their neck. This action doesn’t hurt, offering a safe and effective way to manage a dog that slips its collar easily. Essentially, martingales are perfect for walking or training dogs and can be especially helpful when caring for shy or timed hounds (whose first instincts are to buck their collar when nervous).

This collar is available in three widths; 1″, 1,5″ and 2″ and in six different sizes; Extra-Small, Small, Small-Medium, Medium, Large, Extra-Large.

Caring for your tartan collar
We recommend hand washing or spot cleaning the soiled area. Also, please do not tumble dry. Leave your collar to air dry instead.
