Peacock Throne Martingale Collar

Our Peacock Throne martingale collar is inspired by Eastern Royalty and historical tribes who created stunning ribbon fabrics such as this one. Its name depicts all the splendour and mystique of palaces and temples of the east.

To bring out the richness and depth of colour in the pattern, we line this collar with turquoise Swiss velvet lining and finish the collar with your choice of nickel-plated or brass hardware. The colour combinations of blues, coppers, cherry reds and yellow looks stunning on blue/grey coats and black hounds and will complement the elegant necks of long hounds such as greyhounds, whippets, lurchers and galgo’s. Equally, Peacock Throne will look gorgeous on any regal or short-haired breed able to carry this look. Why choose a martingale collar?

Martingale collars have a unique design that keeps your dog from escaping or backing out of its collar. Your Peacock Throne Martingale Collar will sit loosely around your dog’s neck. If and when they pull, the martingale loop will tighten, exerting a gentle pressure around their neck. This action doesn’t hurt, meaning our martingale collars are a safe and effective way to easily manage a dog that slips its collar. Essentially, martingales are perfect for walking or training dogs and can be especially helpful when caring for shy or timed hounds (whose first instincts are to buck their collar when nervous).

Available collar sizes

This collar is only available in a 2” width. Although we offer six sizes, this width may not be suitable for very small sighthounds. Please contact us if you are unsure of its suitability.

Caring for your ribbon collar

Amazingly durable, we recommend placing it in a linen bag, machine washing on a delicate cycle and then air-drying. Your collar can also be spot cleaned and hand washed. However, for best results, do not allow your collar to become too soiled.
