The Honeyberry martingale collar is a lovely tweed collar featuring a blueberry plaid with a bold apple green check. Suitable for all dog breeds, you can purchase this collar in three widths, six sizes. The collar is lined with apple green Swiss velvet and finished with your choice of solid brass or silver nickel plated hardware. Our Honeyberry Tweed Martingale Collar is a blueberry coloured weave featuring a bold green check woven from 100% pure wool. We use luxury apple green Swiss velvet lining to bring out the richness of colour in this traditional country weave. It is definitely a collar of distinction which looks wonderful on all coats. Choose solid brass hardware for a more traditional country life look. Alternatively, opt for silver nickel plated hardware for a more, modern urban feel.
Available with a full or reduced martingale loop
Martingale collars have a unique design which keeps your dog from escaping or backing out of their collar. The reduced loop version has a slightly narrower control loop in comparison to the full loop version. In this particular design, the full loop is made using Honeyberry Tweed, the reduced loop is made using apple green Swiss velvet.
How a martingale collar works
Your martingale collar will sit loosely around your dogs neck. If and when they pull, the martingale loop will tighten exerting a gentle pressure around their neck. This action doesn’t hurt, meaning our martingale collars are a safe and effective way to manage a dog who slips their collar easily. Essentially, martingales are perfect for walking or training dogs, and can be especially helpful when caring for shy or timed hounds (whose first instincts are to buck their collar when nervous).

This collar is available in three widths: 1″, 1.5″ or 2” and in six different sizes: Extra-Small, Small, Small-Medium, Medium, Large and Extra-Large.

Caring for your tweed collar
We recommend hand washing or spot cleaning the soiled area. Also, please do not tumble dry, leave your collar to air dry instead.

Stunning collar, the colours are vibrant and the tweed matches very well with the velvet lining. We chose brass hardware as Dillon has a nickel allergy, and this goes very nicely with the fabric of the collar. The collars are always received quickly and are packaged very nicely. This is our 6th purchase from Doggy Boho (we don’t buy collars anywhere else) – we love the variety of fabrics/designs and the collars themselves and Jane is always very helpful.
