Created to commemorate Holyrood Palace, Holyrood Tartan is a tartan, historically made for kings and queens. The tartan itself features a noble mix of navy and mid blue plaid with brown, khaki green, light blue, gold and white threads woven through. Suitable for most dog breeds, we offer two different lining options and finish the collar with your choice of either solid brass or silver nickel plated hardware. Style with matching dress leads and accessories to complete the Holyrood Tartan look from Doggy Boho.
Our Holyrood Tartan house collar is created from a distinctive mix of colours that include large navy and mid blue blocks with brown, khaki green, light blue, gold and white threads woven through. Designed in 1977 to commemorate the palace of Scottish Kings and Queens, this is the tartan of choice for majestic dogs and owners.
Why choose a house collar
A house collar is a type of dog collar that’s made to be worn at home every day and is ideal for caring your dog’s I.D. tag. It features a single loop design which you slip over your dogs head. Once sitting in his or her neckline, simply adjust the hardware to find the perfect level of tightness.
We line all our collars with premium Swiss velvet to ensure they feel soft, comfortable and none chafing against your dogs fur. Please remember that House collars are not always a suitable walking collar for dogs with heads smaller than the circumference of their necks such as sighthounds. For these breeds, we suggest our Holyrood Tartan Martingale Dog Collar instead.

Caring for your tartan collar (and dress lead)
Do not allow your collar to become too dirty. Spot clean or gentle hand wash, allow to air dry on a flat surface. Remember out tartan products are made from 100% wool and should be washed carefully.
