The Anderson Tartan Martingale Collar is made from lightweight tartan woven from 100% pure new Scottish wool. It has a beautifully soft finish and can be enjoyed in all seasons due to its lightweight nature.
Our Anderson Tartan is a striking combination of air force blue, pillar box red, green, yellow and white tartan. To add a touch of luxury and softness, we line the collar with Cobalt Blue Swiss velvet. You can opt for solid brass or silver nickel-plated hardware to finish your collar. Solid brass gives you a traditional Scottish countryside feel, whereas nickel has a more urban, contemporary look.
Why choose a martingale
Martingale collars have a unique design which keeps your dog from escaping or backing out of their collar. The reduced loop version has a slightly narrower control loop compared to the full loop version.
Your Anderson Martingale Collar will sit loosely around your dog’s neck. If and when they pull, the martingale loop will tighten, exerting a gentle pressure around their neck. This action doesn’t hurt, meaning our martingale collars are a safe and effective way to manage a dog who slips its collar easily. Martingales are perfect for walking or training dogs and can be especially helpful when caring for shy or timed hounds (whose first instincts are to buck their collar when nervous).

This collar is available in three widths; 1″, 1,5″ and 2″ and in six different sizes; Extra-Small, Small, Small-Medium, Medium, Large, and Extra-Large.
